BigSky Trails (AIR) is a trail running event on 20 September 2026 at Hyde Common, Frogham, near Fordingbridge in the New Forest National Park. It is the final race in the Classic Element Trail Series and is inspired by the element Air. The course starts and finishes at Hyde Common, one of the higher points in the New Forest, and includes wide open plains, winding forest trails and a final section along Hampton Ridge back to Hyde Common. The event is fully marked and marshalled. Canicross entries are not accepted. Entrants must be aged 18 or over on 20/09/2026.

Aid station and kit information: the 18 mile route has 2 aid stations, the marathon 3, and the 50k 4, with additional water points between. Aid stations provide sweet and savoury snacks, vegan options, water and flat coke; the event operates as a cupless event. Each aid station will offer PH 1000 electrolyte drink (1000 mg sodium per litre) and assorted gels/snacks. All participants must carry at least 500 ml of fluid; handheld soft flasks are permitted. Runners are advised to carry appropriate clothing for changing conditions and to download the GPX route to a device. A bag drop tent will be available. Cut-off times are 4.5 hours (18 mile), 7 hours (marathon) and 8.5 hours (50k). Parking is at Harry’s Field Campsite, Abbots Well Road, Frogham. T-shirts are available by pre-order only.
