BigSky Trails (AIR) is a trail running event organised by BigFeat Events. The event is the final race in the Classic Element Trail Series and is inspired by the element Air. The venue is Hyde Common, Frogham, near Fordingbridge, SP6 2JD, within the New Forest National Park. The course uses open plains and winding forest trails and starts from the Hyde Common viewpoint. Aid station provision: 2 stations for the 18 mile route, 3 for the marathon, and 4 for the 50k, with additional water stations in between. Aid stations will offer sweet and savoury snacks, vegan options, water and flat coke; the event is cupless. Cut-off times are 4.5 hours for 18 miles, 7 hours for the marathon, and 8.5 hours for the 50k. Runners must carry at least 500 ml of fluid; handheld soft flasks and hydration vests are permitted. Runners are advised to carry suitable clothing for changeable weather and to download the GPX route file. A bag drop tent will be available and car parking is provided at Harry’s Field Campsite, Abbots Well Road, Frogham SP6 2JA. Event T-shirts are available by pre-order only. Experience moonlit trail running under headtorch on a scenic 10 km loop at Moors Valley Country Park, with the choice of one, two or three laps. Enjoy fluorescent markers and a Trees Not Tees option to plant a tree instead of a medal.

Run along Bournemouth seafront with sea views from the Isle of Wight to Old Harry Rocks on a largely flat, traffic free course. Choose 10 miles or 10 km and enjoy chip timing, a finisher medal and post race refreshments.

Take on the New Forest Stinger, a 10 mile off road trail around Ocknell Campsite in Fritham. Enjoy club camaraderie, a finisher medal, goody bag and age trophies in a limited field of trail fans.

Join the Wessex Night League in Kings Worthy for a 60 minute touch free score orienteering across urban streets and wooded areas. Bring hi viz and lights; day entry allowed subject to limits and juniors under 16 must be accompanied.
