Trail Running calendar near Edwinstowe 2026-2027

Experience a volunteer run winter fell race across the West Yorkshire moors. Choose between 15 and 22 mile routes starting from Mytholmroyd for a true local running tradition.

A forest running event at Sherwood Pines on 17 January 2027 offering 10k, 5k and a Junior Run on multi terrain, undulating trails. The event includes a bespoke medal, free photos and prizes for leading runners.

A six-hour self-paced lap event at Ryton Pools Country Park with a 3.3 mile runnable loop, canicross and rucking options, tiered entry fees and a charitable donation to Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.

The Holly Challenge on 23 January 2027 offers 5K, 10K, half marathon and marathon on the lanes of Lightmoor Nature Reserve near Telford. Entries are limited to 50 places and all finishers receive a medal.

A 10 km race at Sowerby Bridge Pool that mixes muddy trail terrain with a tarmac return. A two person relay option is offered and entries are limited to 100 participants.

A winter multi-terrain trail at Irchester Country Park offering 5 km, 10 km and 15 km lap options on mixed trails, paths and roads, including a prominent hill. Parking, toilets and a water station for longer distances are available.

A trail event in Slaithwaite along the Huddersfield narrow gauge canal with options from 5k to marathon. Feed stations, marshals and a 6.5 hour cut off support participants across varied canal and tunnel terrain.

Relaxed, cash-only weekend runs beside the canal at the Fisherman Inn in Bingley, offering 5K, 10K and half marathon options with on-the-day registration and a jumble medal plus a beer or soft drink for finishers.

Test your endurance at the Wadsworth Trog fell race in the South and West Pennines. This 31 km event features over 1100 meters of climbing and requires navigation skills for participants traversing the Hebden Bridge landscape.
