OMG Run

The OMG (One Mile 2 Go) Run is a timed trail running event returning for its second edition at Bawsey Country Park in Norfolk (PE32 1EP). Participants can choose from several fixed distances to run within a six-hour time limit.

The course is a lap-based trail consisting of sand, gravel, and grass. It is described as undulating. Participants will start together and pass a Race HQ/aid station at the lap point each time they complete a loop. The event operates a cupless policy, so runners must bring their own bottles or cups for refilling at the aid station.

Participants can register for the following distances:

  • 5k
  • 10k
  • 15k
  • Half Marathon (approx. 21.1 km)
  • "Heavy Half" (5-7 laps)
  • Marathon (approx. 42.2 km)
  • Ultra Marathon (a distance beyond the marathon)

A bespoke finisher's medal is awarded at the end of the race, though some entry options offer a "lucky dip" medal from a previous event instead. There is no on-site baggage drop; runners are advised to leave belongings in their vehicles, as the course passes the car park on each lap. Parking is included in the entry fee, and a parking code must be collected. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
