Montane Winter Spine is a non stop 268 mile winter ultra along the Pennine Way from Edale to Kirk Yetholm with a 168 hour cutoff. Limited to 150 runners, it demands serious fitness and winter mountain experience.

Run the Skipton Sweetie Skedaddle on 11 January 2026 in North Yorkshire along flat canal towpaths, with distances from 5K to ultra so every runner can join. Finishers get a bespoke medal and sweet post race treats.

The Trigger Fell Race is a classic high moorland challenge from Marsden to Edale across Kinder and Bleaklow with seven checkpoints and trig points. Pre entry only and full fell kit required, proceeds benefit Woodhead Mountain Rescue Team.

Guided recce of about 25 miles of the Hardmoors 55 from Osmotherley to Helmsley on 17 January 2026, with big climbs and moorland views. This supported non race is led by experienced run leaders with sweepers, checkpoints and refreshments.

Take on a rugged off road challenge in Mytholmroyd with 22 or 15 mile routes, the long course rising over 4,000 ft and demanding navigation and winter kit. Includes refreshments, a finish meal and support for retirees; places are limited.
