Trail Running calendar near Chilton Candover 2026-2027

Trail run and walk in Dorset around The Fleet Lagoon with 10 km, half and full marathon options plus a marathon relay for teams of up to four. The mostly off road courses support small local charities through fundraising.

The The Hard Yard will take place in New Alresford on Saturday 26 September 2026. You can run 10 miles.

An overnight backyard ultra at The Waggoners in Welwyn Garden City featuring a repeating 4.167 mile trail loop, official timing, drink vouchers, a commemorative pint glass and a pub athletes menu.

A timed multi lap event on 26 September 2026 in Walton on Thames combining a flat 5.3 km out and back riverside course with a cake themed aid station, multiple distance options and a seven hour time limit.

A five-lap ultramarathon in Berkeley, Gloucestershire across 25-27 September 2026, covering about 130 miles and 15,000 ft of ascent with a 24 hour cut off and 120 places, organized from Hamfields Leisure with camping and tracking included.

Three community races at Harcourt Hill, Oxford on 26 Sep 2026 with 10 km, 3 km and 1 km options. The 10 km is mostly off road and includes a section of the Oxford Greenbelt Way; medals and prizes are provided.

A themed Time Challenge in Northampton offering distances from 3 km to ultras, themed medals, goody bags and aid stations on trails around the Washlands.

Scenic 5K, 10K and Canicross runs through the private grounds of Highnam Court near Gloucester, with on-site facilities, water stations and prizes.

A forest trail half marathon in late September with no road crossings, chip and gun timing, water stations and medals for finishers, organised by the local Rotary Club.

Trail races at Salisbury Racecourse offer marathon, half marathon and 10 km over undulating downland with woodland and Martin Down turf. GPX routes are provided and finishers receive a medal; top three men and women earn trophies.

Ten mile off road trail at Eridge Park with steep climbs, muddy single track, GPX route maps, a finisher memento and cake and a pint at the finish.

A community running event in Manuden on 27 September 2026 with 10k, 5k and 1k races, on-road starts then off-road bridleways, water stations and medals for finishers. Funds raised support Sands, St Clare Hospice and village organisations.

A coastal 10 km race along the North Somerset shoreline, passing Black Nore Lighthouse and Redcliffe Bay. The mixed terrain route includes grass, mud, rocks and tarmac with undulating sections and a seafront finish.

Amport Trail Run on 27 September 2026 offers multi terrain 5k, 10k, 10 mile and canicross routes from Amport Cricket Club. Entry is pre-registration only and the courses feature marshals, first aid and on-course refreshments.

A multi terrain trail run along the Thames near Marlow offering a Half Marathon, 10k and a 1k Little Sprinters race. The event features chip timing, a finisher medal, on route water stations and an event village with facilities.

A community road and trail event at Nettlestone Primary School with 5 miles, 5 km and a children's fun run on circular seaside routes with finish medals.

A 5 km handicap trail run around Firle on 27 September 2026 with a fully marked course, prizes, and tea and cake at the village hall; entry is limited to 50 runners.

A timed lap based run at Buchan Country Park in Crawley on 27 September 2026 with distances from 5 km up to ultra and flexible start options. Entry choices include a medal or a lower cost no medal option.

Point to point runs from Central Park, Dartford along the River Darent with 5K, 10K and 18K options plus a finisher medal and post race refreshments.

A seven hour Time Challenge along the River Thames where runners choose distances from 3 km to 50 km, with medals, distance pins and a goody bag.
