The Calderdale Way Relay is a six leg off road team race on 16 May 2027, starting at Clay House in West Vale and finishing at Spring Hall. Entries open online in December 2026 and are limited to 100 teams on a first come first served basis.

A 32 miles point to point trail ultra around East Lancashire visiting the four Panopticons art installations across South Pennines trails. The route covers about 52 km with 1,430 m of climb and requires navigation and mandatory kit.

A long May fell race of about 37 miles and 10,000 feet of ascent, visiting Helvellyn, Scafell Pike and Coniston before returning to Great Langdale. The race began in 1988 after a 1987 test year.

Day 2 of the Dun Holm 5 in 5 Days Challenge is a seven hour time event on a signed trail by the River Wear, offering distances from 3 km up to ultramarathon, with medals, distance pins and aid stations.
