Scorton 10k and 15k Trail Run

The event offers two measured trail distances near the village of Scorton, Preston, organised by 3CS Tours and scheduled for 10 May 2026. The courses run mainly on tracks and fields around Scorton and climb to the heights of Nicky Nook, with views over much of Lancashire.

Both routes are fully marked. The 10k course includes one checkpoint and the 15k course includes two checkpoints. Route maps are provided by the organiser.

Entries open on 19 December 2025 and close on 8 May 2026. Entry fees include a booking charge and are listed separately for UKA members and non-members: 10k from £24.50 for members and £26.60 for non-members; 15k from £29.80 for members and £32.00 for non-members.

An optional XCover refund insurance option is offered for participants who may wish to seek a refund for unforeseen circumstances. The event is accompanied by published terms, cancellation and refund policies.

Run the Petzl Night Runner at Rivington under head torch light, choosing 10 km or a half marathon on glow in the dark trail signage. Expect rough, boggy, rocky terrain, a finisher medal and lively post race buzz.

A 23 mile winter walk and run around the Lyth Valley from Abbot Hall Social Centre in Kendal, passing Cunswick Fell, Whitbarrow Scar and Scout Scar. The event has mandatory winter kit rules and currently operates a waiting list.

Take on the iconic Pendle Way in a day with 45 miles or 30 miles across rugged South Pennines moorland, fully waymarked from Barley. This winter trail challenge welcomes runners and walkers but requires winter kit and navigation gear.

Off-road event near Preston offering 10k and 11 mile routes across tracks and fields around Caldervale and the base of Beacon Fell country park. The 11 mile has a three hour cutoff and maps with three checkpoints are provided.
