Scorton Trail 10k & 15k, Scorton, 9 May 2027

The Scorton Trail is an off road running event held in Scorton, Preston, featuring routes through rolling countryside, woodland trails, farm tracks and Bowland landscapes. The event offers two distances.

Entries include a medal, a finishers tech T shirt, chip timing and free photography. The event provides full medical cover, signed routes, aid stations and age awards. A water station is available on both courses, with only water provided and hydration pack top up possible.

Participants must collect their bib number and timing tag in person on the day; these items are not posted. Check in is available on the event day and closes shortly before the race. Event HQ offers check in desks, toilets, baggage drop and car key storage. Parking is available at Event HQ and detailed parking information is sent to registered participants 7 to 10 days before the event.

Entry is available online and the entry fee includes listed items with no additional payments or add ons. The minimum age for entry is 17 years. Trail runs nearby

A classic AM fell race in Ingleton held during the town gala, covering 11 km 6.8 mi with 600 m of ascent. The route uses public footpaths to the Ingleborough summit and returns to the village.

A 36 mile point-to-point ultra from Clitheroe Castle to Lancaster Castle with chip timing, live tracking, six checkpoints and mandatory kit. Pre-registration only, age 18+, entry fee £65 and a 10 hour maximum time limit.

Tackle the rugged Bowland slopes at the Hapton Fell Race, a challenging 5 miles with about 400 m of climb near Burnley. Day of entry makes it ideal for last minute plans and friendly club rivalry.

A new trail 10 km around Clowbridge Reservoir and the Pennine Bridleway with 175 m elevation over 10 km. Marked and marshalled course, spot prizes afterwards, and funds raised for local causes.
