Punk Panther Ripon Stinger
The Ripon Stinger is a trail running event based at Studley Roger, near the city of Ripon and its cathedral. The route primarily follows the Ripon Rowel and passes wooded valleys, historic sites and designed landscapes including Fountains Abbey, Studley Water gardens and the River Skell's Valley of the Seven Bridges. Other notable features include views of St Margaret’s Church and Hackfall woods.

Entries close on Sunday 2nd May 2027. The event has a maximum of 200 entrants and a minimum age of 18. Registration is at Studley Roger Village Hall, Studley Lane, Studley Roger HG4 3AY. Car parking is at a nearby field on Studley Lane with a £2 donation to the farmer's charity; parking in the village is not permitted.
All ultramarathon entrants receive a supplied tracker; half and 20-mile entrants can hire a tracker for £15. Provisional GPX files and route descriptions are available and the final versions will be emailed to competitors. Checkpoints are provided on course with water, sports drinks and snacks; CP access differs by distance and late arrivals at closed checkpoints will be retired. Dogs are permitted subject to the event rules.
Finishers receive a medal and an event T-shirt (unless they opt out). Homemade hot food, vegan and gluten-free options, hot drinks and snacks are available at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
