Punk Panther Ripon Stinger

Punk Panther Ripon Stinger is a trail event held from Studley Roger near Ripon. The route mainly follows the Ripon Rowel and passes wooded valleys and several historic sites, including Fountains Abbey and Studley Water gardens. The ultramarathon route also goes through the Valley of the Seven Bridges and the River Skell valley, with additional views of St Margaret’s Church and Hackfall Woods.

Minimum age for entry is 18. Maximum field is 200 entrants. Registration and race start take place at Studley Roger Village Hall. A car park is available nearby for a small donation to the farmer's charity; parking in the village is prohibited and may lead to disqualification. Toilets are provided at registration.

All ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker; half marathon and 20 mile entrants can hire a tracker. Trackers display estimated times at checkpoints and include an emergency button. A mandatory kit list applies to all distances and random kit checks will be carried out; items include waterproofs, fluids, cup, survival bag, whistle, personal first aid, a hard copy map, and a mobile phone with organiser contact stored. Checkpoints supply drinks and snacks with vegan and gluten free options. Every finisher receives a medal and an event T shirt unless they opt out.
