Keswick Mountain Festival

Keswick Mountain Festival is an outdoors sports festival running from 15 to 17 May 2026. The programme combines organised sporting events with a broader festival offering including talks by speakers, live music, family activities, exhibitor stands and a food and drink area. Additional elements include a brand expo, camping and a series of "Away Days" activities.

Sports on offer include swim, bike, run, hike, triathlon and other adventure activities. Organisers run organised swims with substantial on-water safety cover; water temperature is checked on the morning of races and updates are provided at race briefings. A qualified first-aid team and medical cover are provided onsite; competitors are advised to withdraw or seek assistance if unwell.

Volunteers and marshals are requested for event support; no previous experience is required and marshals receive an event memento plus food and drink. Sustainability measures include removing single-use cups from the site, so athletes are asked to bring their own hydration system or a collapsible cup for feed stations. Entrants may opt out of receiving a race T shirt, with the equivalent cost donated to the festival's selected charity.

Event information covers booking terms, travel and parking guidance, accommodation guidance, exhibitor information and frequently asked questions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
