December 2026

A 24 hour ultrarun on the Roanoke Canal Trail using an out and back *10k* loop with start and finish at Weldon Mills Distillery on the Roanoke River. Held December 5 to 6, 2026; registration opens August 1, fee $120.

Multiple USATF certified races take place on the Dismal Swamp course in Chesapeake, VA, including 50K, marathon, half marathon and a 50K relay. Aid stations are provided and finishers receive apparel and medals.

Trail races at Pocahontas State Park include 5K, 10K and a half marathon on the wooded Bright Hope Trail, with virtual options available; walkers are welcome.

Experience a scenic out and back half marathon on the flat and smooth Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail. Enjoy a unique post race campfire with roasted donuts and earn a custom finisher medal.

A half marathon and a 5K at Harwoods Mill Park in Yorktown on January 17, 2026, with shuttle parking from McReynolds Athletic Complex. Limited fields, four aid stations, on-site packet pick-up and specific trail conditions.

February 2027

A 200 mile out and back run from Sandbridge Beach to Cape Hatteras Lighthouse on February 28, 2027 in Virginia Beach, raising funds for Awareness N Action and Mission22 with 30 in person spots available.

March 2027

A multi-distance ultra on the Outer Banks held March 20 to 21, 2027 that runs point to point along paved coastal roads from Corolla or Nags Head to Hatteras. Options include 100 mile, 100K, relay, chariot, pacer and virtual events.

April 2027

A 14 mile untimed point to point trail run along the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail that starts at one Sheetz and finishes at another. The event features unusual aid station snacks and practical finisher swag.

A weekend trail relay at Pocahontas State Park featuring lake side single-track loops, camping in Ragnar Village, and team options from 3 to 8 runners. The course totals 120 miles with about 15 miles per runner and varied park amenities.

A 24-hour solo and team event on a flat 3.75 mile dirt loop in Hampton, VA, with milestone plaques, technical shirts, and awards; registration opens in January and entries are limited to 200, supporting the American Cancer Society.
