Haunts & Hallows : October 25, 2026

Haunts & Hallows is a Half Marathon held in Virginia Beach at First Landing State Park. The event is organized by Winding Way Run Co. and takes place on trail terrain with roots, bridges, sandy sections and gently rolling trails. The course includes about 300 feet of elevation gain.

Runners have a generous four hour cutoff to complete the course. Support is provided by four aid stations along the route stocked with Tailwind, water, soda and other refreshments supplied by volunteers. A race photographer will be on course and photos will be free to download. At the finish there will be donuts from Glazed And Infuzed and coffee.

All runners and volunteers receive a shirt. All finishers receive a finisher beanie from BOCO. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers and to top male and female runners in age groups for juniors under 21, masters 40 to 49, grand masters 50 to 59 and super masters 60 and over.

Winding Way Run Co. will make a donation to AIDNOW on behalf of the event and offers registrants the option to donate. Registration fees are non refundable and non transferrable except as covered by the event pregnancy and postpartum policy. Runners must register by October 8 to guarantee shirt size.
