Course Details

The route begins with one mile on paved roads to distribute the field of runners before transitioning onto the natural trail network. The course terrain includes:

  • 300 feet of elevation gain

A total time limit of four hours is provided for participants to complete the course. Aside from a small road connector, the majority of the distance takes place on trails through the park.

Participants receive an entry T-shirt, a finisher beanie, and post-race refreshments including coffee and donuts. Professional photography is provided on the course, with digital images available for free download after the event. Awards are presented across several categories:

  • Overall top three male and female finishers
  • Junior (under 21)
  • Masters (40-49)
  • Grand Masters (50-59)
  • Super Masters (60 and over)

The event partners with the non-profit organization AIDNOW, and a portion of the proceedings is donated to support their local and international programs.

Packet pickup is available on the Saturday preceding the race at a local running store or on the day of the event at the start area. Trail runs nearby

The Long Creek 60K/30K offers a scenic tour of First Landing State Park's nine diverse trails, from forests to shoreline. This cupless event provides three stocked aid stations and a 10-hour time limit. All finishers receive a custom award.

Experience cross country racing at Bells Mill Park with 5K and 1.5 mile events featuring grass and marshy terrain. Enjoy a post race afterparty with catered lunch boxes and finisher medals for all participants.

A 12-hour endurance run on a scenic, flat 1.5-mile loop at Oak Grove Lake Park. Runners can choose their own distance over the 12-hour period. The event is limited to 60 participants with no waitlist.

A two-loop 50K trail run through First Landing State Park. Runners navigate a cupless course with two aid stations and an 8-hour time limit. All finishers get a medal, and a post-race party with pizza and drinks awaits.
