Virginia Run for Cancer
Virginia Run for Cancer is a timed 24-hour event offering both solo and team competition at 1255 Big Bethel Road in Hampton, VA. The course is a flat 3.75 mile all-dirt loop through a nature park and is USATF certified (VA12075RT). The event includes both individual and team entries; registration opens in January and entries are limited to 200.
Awards include engraved plaques for first place male, female, team and top fundraiser. Course records listed are 135 miles for men, 131 miles for women, and 1052.75 miles for a team. Technical shirts are provided to all entrants, and special recognition is given for cumulative achievement with 500-Mile Club jackets and 1000-mile buckles.

Organizers provide volunteer lap counters and on-site liquid refreshments. Runners are expected to bring their own food and hydration; pizza may be offered for dinner.
