The Long Creek 60k takes place in Virginia Beach, VA on April 19, 2026. The event uses trails inside First Landing State Park and has a 10 hour time limit for both distances. All finishers who complete their distance within the time limit will receive a custom finisher award.

Course and aid stations

The course begins and finishes at the boat ramp side of the Narrows Trail and follows nine trails: Long Creek, White Hill Lake, Cape Henry, Kingfisher, Osmanthus, Bald Cypress, High Dune, Fox Run and Osprey. The route passes through maritime forest, cypress swamp, salt marsh and bay shoreline, and in places runs along the beach of Broad Bay. The 60K consists of two loops of the course; the 30K is one loop.

There are three aid stations located at the intersections of Long Creek/64th, Cape Henry/King Fisher, and Cape Henry near the trail center. Aid station supplies include Tailwind, water, soda, gels, pickle juice and various foods. This is a cupless race; each entrant receives a 200 ml collapsible SpeedCup at packet pickup.

Take on the Swammie Shuffle 200, a 200 mile ultramarathon along the Atlantic coast from Sandbridge to Cape Hatteras with lighthouses and wild Corolla horses. Proceeds support Awareness N Action and Mission22 to fight veteran suicide.
