The Long Creek 60k/30k takes place at First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach, VA. The event offers two distances: a 60 kilometer race and a 30 kilometer race. The 60k consists of two loops of the course and the 30k is one loop. Both events have a 10 hour time limit. The start and finish are at the boat ramp side of the Narrows Trail.

Course and aid

The route runs across nine trails: Long Creek, White Hill Lake, Cape Henry, Kingfisher, Osmanthus, Bald Cypress, High Dune, Fox Run and Osprey. Terrain includes maritime forest, cypress swamp, salt marsh and bay shoreline; parts of the trail run along Broad Bay beach. There are three aid stations at Long Creek/64th, Cape Henry/Kingfisher, and Cape Henry near the trail center. Aid stations will provide Tailwind, water, soda, gels, pickle juice and various foods. This is a cupless race; cups are not provided at aid stations. Each entrant receives a 200 ml collapsible SpeedCup at packet pickup.

Join Peninsula Track Club at Sandy Bottom Nature Park for timed loop runs on a flat 5 km lakeside course, with 8 hour, 4 hour and 5 km options. Bring your own cup for this cupless event and enjoy aid station treats and a homemade medal.

Take on the Swammie Shuffle 200, a more than 200 mile self supported coastal ultra starting at Sandbridge with 5.5 days to finish, passing lighthouses and Corolla wild horses. Limited spots and proceeds benefit veterans.

Run a scenic 50K two loop course at First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach on December 13, 2026, with aid stations and a lively finish. Finishers get a Brooks shirt and medal and can celebrate at a brewery party.
