The Snowy Owl 10 Mile is a challenging trail race held at York River State Park in Williamsburg, Virginia. The course features a mix of terrain including five miles of technical single track trails, about three-quarters of a mile on road, and the remainder on dirt fire road trails. Runners will encounter rocky sections, twisting single track, a scenic boardwalk, and fast fire roads, with an elevation gain of approximately 600 feet.

The race offers three aid stations and a generous four-hour cutoff, accommodating both runners and hikers. Participants receive a winter hat, race logo, free park entry, and a unique ceramic finisher medal. The event supports AWARE, with onsite educational activities featuring owls.
