The Sheetz-to-Sheetz Trail Run is an untimed, point-to-point 14-mile event in King George, Virginia, held on April 4, 2026. Course, aid stations and logistics

The route starts at the King George Middle School Sheetz (Store #573) and finishes at the Dahlgren Sheetz (Store #259). The course is 1.4 miles on road plus 12.6 miles on the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail (DRHT). Terrain is mostly dirt and gravel with short sections of pea gravel or small rocks; elevation change is minimal. Scenery includes farmland, wetlands, and woods; a shooting range is located nearby the trail.

There are four on-course aid stations at approximately miles 3.14, 6.2, 10.2, and 12.5 offering items such as pie, s’mores, Peeps, soft pretzel nuggets, fruit snacks, water, and an electrolyte drink. The race is fully cupless: each runner receives a HydraPak SpeedCup for aid-station hydration. Shuttle buses run from event parking at King George Gateway Shopping Center to the start.
