12 Hour Adventure Trail Run
The event is a 12 hour trail run held at Prince William Forest Park near Triangle, VA. The course uses a 6.5 mile loop laid out as a figure eight on 100% trails, mixing single track and fire road. Runners should expect undulating terrain, ascents and descents, and natural trail features such as rocks and roots; there may be mud if it rains. Approximate elevation change is 650 feet per loop.
The event format and logistics include:
- 30 km distance
- 12 hour timed format and 2 person relay available
- Field limited to 100 runners
There will be two aid stations. The main aid station is at the Start/Finish and provides a plentiful array of food for participants and crews. The secondary aid station supplies water only.
