The Full Distance 5k & 10k takes place on October 11 at Locust Shade Park. Points from the event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series and the Sippin Series. A virtual race option is offered. Walkers are welcome.

Registered participants receive a finisher's medal, a technical (Dri-Fit) event shirt, chip timing and a glass of beer from Full Distance Brewing. Awards are given to the top three men and top three women overall, and to 1st and 2nd place male and female in age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Top three overall finishers are not eligible for age-group awards. Back of the Pack time is listed as 12:00.
Course and logistics
The course is mostly a trail run with some roots and about 40% pavement. The 5k is two loops and the 10k is four loops. There are some hills; elevation gain is available on the course map. Water stations: one on the 5k at about mile 1.55; three on the 10k at about miles 1.55, 3.1 and 4.65. Restrooms are available near the registration area. Packet pickup is available at the event; participants are advised to arrive about one hour before their event. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before October 1.
