The Lake Anna Turkey Trot takes place at Lake Anna State Park in Spotsylvania, VA on November 28, 2025. Distances offered:

Points from the event count toward the 5k, 10k, Endurance and Back of the Pack Series, and toward the Fall Series. A virtual race option is available. Runners must pay the state park entrance fee or use a state park pass. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations made before November 17. Registration fees change after November 15 and increase again on race morning.
Course, services and logistics
The 5k is an out-and-back on a technical trail. The 10k follows the same trail section then continues on paved road for the second half. The half is an out-and-back done twice, turning around just past the 10k turnaround. The half marathon has a completion time limit of 3:15. Back of the Pack is listed as 13:00 (5k/10k) and 14:00 (half); this is a series classification, not a cutoff. Water stations: 13 along the half, 5 along the 10k, and 1 on the 5k, with Gatorade at some stations. Runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (Dri-fit) event shirt, and chip timing. Live results will be posted and a QR code will be available on race day. Awards are given to top 3 overall and to age-group placings.
