FXBG Trail 10K

The FXBG Trail 10K, also known as the West Side Quarry race, is the third event in the FXBG Trail Series located in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The course covers a distance of 10 km (approximately 6.4 miles) through a variety of natural terrains. The race begins along the Beach trail, situated next to the Rappahannock River, providing a path familiar to participants of the series.

The middle section of the course features a single primary climb. This steady ascent serves as the defining feature of the route before participants reach the crest. Following the climb, the later miles consist of a series of undulating and rolling hills that continue until the finish line. The route is designed with a total elevation gain of 426 feet, offering a mix of flat riverside sections and elevated wooded paths.

The top three male and female finishers receive gift certificates from a local outfitter. The event is supported by the Fredericksburg Area Running Club and takes place at Wicklow Drive.
