Trail Running calendar near Lorraine 2026-2027

An annual community 5k and kids run that raises suicide awareness and supports families; offers in-person and virtual 3.1 mile options and a 1 mile kids run.

A two-day event at Green Lakes State Park with Saturday swim-bike-run races and Sunday trail and kids runs. Registration opens July 21, 2025 and fees vary by event.

Cannonball Crush is a 5K obstacle race at Fort Henry with over 20 modern and historically themed obstacles. Open to ages 13 and up, it offers solo and team categories with team awards based on the top four times.

July 2026

A remote, self-supported 55K on the Northville Placid Trail in the Adirondacks with about 3,300 feet of climb, required race validation, included meals and limited designated camping near the dam.

An informal 6 km trail run on Sugarbush Vineyards' private trails as part of the Friday Night Happy Hour series, with cupless policy, water at start/finish, manual timing and on-site registration options.

August 2026

A charity trail event at Trenton Fish and Game Club supporting autism awareness, featuring a 5 Miles trail run, a 5 Miles walk and a supervised 1K kids fun run. Proceeds benefit local organizations including Kelberman.

An evening trail race at Fillmore Glen State Park offering 3-mile and 8-mile courses that run along the gorge rims and cross the creek on bridges. The marked routes include stairs, water stops, and count toward FLRC trail-circuit standings.

A backyard ultra at CCC Camp in Winona State Forest near Mannsville, NY where runners complete a 4.167 mile loop each hour until only one remains. Crew support is allowed but pacers are not.

September 2026

A women's backyard ultra near Phoenix, NY, run as repeated 4.167 mile laps at regular hourly intervals. Support tents and start/finish aid are available; runners must carry their own supplies and follow equipment rules.

Experience an outdoor adventure at Everest Park featuring a four mile obstacle course with forty natural and man made challenges. Families can choose between the full mud run or a specialized mini course for younger children.

An obstacle and fitness race on September 13, 2026 in Fayetteville, NY featuring a roughly 3 mile course with about 23 first responder inspired challenges, including Search & Rescue, Hose Drag and timed mental focus tasks.

Ultrarunning event at Sugarbush Vineyards in Hillier, Ontario. Timed solo races, a 24 hour relay and a 12 hour night option take place on a roughly 3 km loop through woods and meadow.

A trail running event in Brookfield, New York offering 5k, 15k and 50k courses through Charles E. Baker State Forest; the 50k uses multi loop format, has over 4,800 feet of gain and a nine hour cutoff.
