Brookfield Classic
The Brookfield Classic is a trail running event held on September 19, 2026, in Brookfield, New York, within the Charles E. Baker State Forest. The event offers multiple race distances on marked forest trails and includes on-site food for participants.
Distances:
- 5k: Scenic trail around Woodland Pond. FKT 23:42.
- 15k: Loop on a mix of truck and horse trails. FKT 1:10.

The 50k is run as 3 or more loops to allow refueling or safe withdrawal; runners must be recorded by a volunteer at the end of each loop. Two porta potties are placed in the parking lot at Truck Trail 14 (fire tower north lot) and one is located on Brown Road off horse trail 54.
