Brookfield Classic
The Brookfield Classic takes place on September 19, 2026 in Brookfield, New York, in the Charles E Baker State Forest near Brown Road West Edmeston. The event offers three trail race distances and runs primarily on truck trails and horse trails.
Distances
- 5K: For new trail runners or those who enjoy the 5K distance.
- 15K: A 15K loop on truck and horse trails, walk or run, family friendly.
- 50K: A 50K ultramarathon on truck and horse trails with 4,600+ feet of vertical gain.
The 50K course is organized as three loops so participants can refuel each lap. At the end of each loop a race volunteer marks completion. The 50K has a nine hour overall cutoff.
Food and awards are part of the event. Fresh grilled food will be available on site with donations supporting the Brookfield Central School Senior Class. There is a $250 prize if a new course record is set in the 50K and a $250 prize if a new course record is set in the 15K.
