Race to the Face 5K is a community-oriented running and walking event in Norwich. In 2025, the event enters its fourth year. The course starts on a road in downtown Norwich, switches to trail, then returns to the road and downtown, accommodating runners, walkers, and hikers and even friendly dogs.

Participants enjoy autumn scenery and views, including a Stone Quarry Face overlook along the route. Special features include the Mountain Goat Challenge, where the first to ring the bell at the overlook wins $50, and the overall 5K winner also earns $50.
