Event Overview

The Trailwagger is a running event held in Laurens, New York, at Gilbert Lake State Park. The inaugural event is a collaboration between Super Heroes Humane Society and The Clark Sports Center Events team.

Race Distances and Formats

The event offers four different divisions and a pet-friendly activity.

A 3-mile run/walk on a mixed course of paved park roads and trails.
A 5-mile run that is mostly on trails, passing ponds and creeks.
An 8-mile option that combines the 3-mile and 5-mile courses.
A two-person team division where partners choose who runs the 3-mile or 5-mile leg.
A separate activity for participants to walk their dogs around a lake; participating dogs receive a bandanna.

Additional Information

Registration by a specified date includes an event T-shirt. A portion of the event's funds will support the Super Heroes Humane Society, a nonprofit organization based in Oneonta, NY, that provides animal sheltering, a pet food pantry, and other community services.
