Thunder Run is a 5K trail race with more than 20 obstacles through woods and hills in Candia, New Hampshire on September 12, 2026. Organized by Raymond Area Rotary, 100% of proceeds support local and selected international projects.

Three events at the Springfield Dam on 09/12/2026 include a kids 0.5 mile, a one-mile Maniac Mile for ages 10+, and a 3.1 mile trail run with views of Mt. Ascutney. Food vendors and family activities are planned.

Pisgah Mountain Trail Races in Chesterfield, NH offer 50k and 23k trail ultramarathon distances on Sunday September 13, 2026, with aid stations carrying Tailwinds, Untapped, and LMNT and proceeds benefiting New Hampshire Special Olympics.

A multi-day Spartan obstacle weekend at Killington Ski Resort on Sep 19 to 20, 2026, with Sprint, Beast, Ultra and kids races across steep off trail mountain terrain.

A community fundraiser at Pomfret Community School featuring a 5K trail run and a 0.5 mile kids fun run, with early and late registration tiers, age and gender awards, and finisher medals for all participants.

A 5K trail run at Winding Trails in Farmington on the designated course around Walton Pond, with registration from February 20 to September 20 and a $35 fee; overall and age-group awards plus a prize for the first local finishers.

A 24 hour trail event at Mohawk Mountain Ski Area in Cornwall Connecticut featuring a Double Kuwohi route of about 28 miles and 13,685 feet of elevation. Participants may run, hike, or walk.

A timed endurance event in Cohoes, NY offering 1, 3 and 6 hour solo options plus 3 and 6 person relays, organized to raise awareness and funds for Flutters of Hope Inc.

Trail races in Groton, Massachusetts on October 4, 2026, organized by local running and trails groups. Two distances, 9.5 miles and 3.4 miles, total entries limited to 250, online registration closes October 3.

A 26.4 mile trail marathon on Connecticut's Nipmuck Trail featuring rocks, roots, mud and wood bridges, plus a two-runner relay option. The course uses a 13 mile segment with out-and-back sections and published cutoffs.
