Run for the Hills - Harvard

Run for the Hills in Harvard takes place on October 25, 2026 at the Community Harvest Project Barn and Orchard, 115 Prospect Hill Road, Harvard MA 01451. The event includes two measured trail events.

  • 5K Trail Run
  • 1 mile Fun Run for kids

The 5K course is entirely off-road and loops through the orchard and adjacent woods and fields. The fun run remains on trails inside the orchard. Registered participants who are entered by October 9 will receive shirts. Digital race photos will be provided at no charge.

Registration opens April 29, 2026. Early-bird entry fees for the 5K are $30 through September 30; the 5K fee increases to $35 on October 1. The Fun Run fee is $15. Family rate registration is offered: early-bird family rate $60 for three to five people, $75 after October 1. Discounts are noted for youth and for Harvard Conservation Trust members.

Proceeds benefit the Harvard Conservation Trust to support preservation of local natural resources. The event awards first male and first female finishers and top three finishers in each listed age division, which range from youth through seventy and over. Post-race refreshments are provided. The Women+'s Morning Run in the Fells will take place in Winchester on Thursday 18 June 2026. You can run 3 miles.

Three summer trail races at West Hill Dam in Uxbridge, MA, with well-marked wooded single and double-track courses, limited fields, age-group prizes, and a portion of fees donated to local food pantries.

A weekend of Spartan obstacle races at Carter and Stevens Farm in Barre MA featuring a 5 km Sprint with 20 obstacles and a 10 km Super with 25 obstacles. The program also includes a kids race and an obstacle workshop.

A 12-hour timed trail event in Lawrence Woods, Medford, featuring a roughly 4-mile loop, minimal on-course aid, and parking at a nearby high school lot. The start and aid station are located in the woods about a quarter mile from parking.
