TARC Summer Classic : Noon Hill Reservation, Medfield MA

The Trail Animals Running Club Summer Classic is a trail running event held at Noon Hill Reservation and Shattuck Reservation in Medfield, Massachusetts on August 8, 2026. The event uses a roughly 10 mile undulating loop that starts and finishes at Holt Pond and runs largely through forested gravel and singletrack trails along the Charles River. The loop rises to a scenic vista on Noon Hill, offering distant views including Gillette Stadium.

The 50K includes an extra short loop around Holt Pond at the start to reach the longer distance. The course is mostly singletrack with some double track and a very short road section of about 100 yards. Terrain features roots and rocks; total elevation per loop is approximately 1,000 feet and includes the climb to the Noon Hill vista.

Field limits are set for each category and total event registration is capped at 150 participants. Time limits are applied to finishers: 11 hours for the ultra distances and 4 hours for the 10 mile event. All event proceeds are donated to The Trustees of Reservations.
