About the race
The Turkeywacker 5K Trail Run takes place on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2026, at the William A. Rice Recreation Complex in Wrentham, Massachusetts. This is the ninth annual edition of the event and it highlights the grounds of the William A. Rice Complex.
The event offers a scenic 5K trail course through the recreation complex. It welcomes participants of all ages and includes both runners and walkers.
An awards ceremony is held after the run under the Rice Recreation Complex tent. Post-race refreshments include donuts and cider, and a raffle with prizes is part of the ceremony. Top performers are recognized across multiple divisions.
Registration opens July 10, 2026 and closes November 25, 2026, with a registration fee of $25. Early bib pickup is available at White Barn Farm in Wrentham.
