Runners start near the fairground entrance and follow the New Boston Rail Trail along the Piscataquog River to a turnaround at Lang's Station. The marked course is a 4.0 mile loop that is largely flat with one minor speedbump. Loop tracking is handled by Second Wind Timing using chipped bibs at the Start/Finish; bibs should be worn on the front and be clearly visible.
Awards and team rules include belt buckles for completing 100 miles individually or as a team. Team entry is permitted; each team member registers separately and must provide a team name. Pacers are not allowed for the 6 hour event. Entrants in the 12, 24 and 30 hour events may use one pacer at a time after dark (starting at 5pm); pacers and crew require a food ticket. Dogs are not allowed on the grounds. Tents, small pop-ups, canopies, and RVs are allowed; quiet hours are 10pm to 7am. Runners in the 12, 24 and 30 hour events must supply their own headlamps.
A central aid station at the Start/Finish provides water, NUUN, Tailwind, sodas, fruit, energy gels, and other food. Lunch and dinner options are planned for longer events and 24/30 hour entrants receive breakfast. The event’s refund policy allows a full refund minus processing fees if registration is cancelled through Ultrasignup at least 60 days before the race; within 60 days fees are forfeited or may be deferred to the following year.
