The Hamsterwheel is a timed loop running event held at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds area in New Boston, NH, near 17 Hilldale Lane. The event offers individual and relay options across multiple time-limited events.

The course is a 4.0 mile loop that runs outward on the New Boston Rail Trail along the Piscataquog River to a turnaround at Lang's Station, then returns and follows a gravel service road around the fairgrounds. The loop is described as largely flat with one minor speedbump. The route will be marked with signs and flags and the turnaround point will be clearly indicated.

Loop tracking is handled by Second Wind Timing at the start and finish using chipped bibs; bibs should be worn on the front of the body for accurate recording. A central aid station at the start and finish provides water, NUUN, Tailwind, sodas, fruit, energy gels and other food. Lunch and dinner options are planned, and 24 hour and 30 hour entrants receive breakfast.

Rules and logistics include team entry with separate registration per team member, pacer and crew policies, no dogs allowed on the grounds, allowed tents and RVs, quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and a no camping policy before the race or after the 30 hour event. Runners in the 12 hour, 24 hour and 30 hour events must supply their own headlamps. The event refund policy allows a full refund minus Ultrasignup fees if cancellation is completed through Ultrasignup no later than 60 days before the race; within 60 days the fee is forfeited or may be deferred to the following year.
