Hooksett Kiwanis 5K Trail Race

The event is organized by Hooksett Kiwanis with co-sponsorship from Merrimack County Savings Bank and Crown Chimney. The course begins at the Heads Pond trail at the intersection of Hooksett Road and Post Road in Hooksett, follows a hard packed stone dust surface, enters a wooded conservation trail and finishes at the Hooksett Public Library.

Registration pricing is tiered: early bird (7/1/2026 - 7/31/2026) all runners and walkers $20, kids $5; pre-registration (8/1/2026 - 9/18/2026) all runners and walkers $30, kids $5; late or race day registration all runners and walkers $35, kids $5. T-shirts will be provided to the first 100 registrants and organizers will attempt to honor size requests.

Onsite facilities and logistics include Port O Potties at the trail head, parking on one side of University Heights Road with marked no parking areas, a shuttle van from the Library to the Heads Pond trail head, and a secure bin at the Library for personal items. A 50/50 raffle will be drawn at the award ceremony; tickets are sold 3 for $5 or 10 for $10 at registration tables.

All proceeds support Hooksett Kiwanis activities and local youth programs. Awards are given by male and female age groups: 15 and under, 16-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
