Hooksett Kiwanis 5K Trail Race

The Hooksett Kiwanis 5K Trail Race takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Hooksett, New Hampshire. The trail begins at the Heads Pond trail at the intersection of Hooksett Road and Post Road and finishes at the Hooksett Public Library.

The course follows a hard packed stone dust surface, then enters a wooded conservation trail before ending at the library. Port-O-Potties are located at the trail head.

For safety and local traffic control, strollers of any kind and dogs are not permitted. T-shirts will be provided to the first 100 registrants and t-shirt and bib pick up is available prior to the race at the Hooksett Library front steps. Participants will park on one side of University Heights Road and walk to the library; a shuttle van will be available between the library and the Heads Pond trail head. A secure bin will be provided for personal items during the race.

A 50/50 raffle will be held at the award ceremony; tickets are sold at registration. Age group awards are offered for male and female runners in these groups: 15 and under, 16 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over.
