Prospect Acres Ranch 2,4 & 8 hour Ultra

The event at Prospect Acres Ranch in Franklin, New Hampshire is an ultramarathon format where participants run repeated trail laps of 2.2 miles and record their own progress. Runners choose between timed formats of 2 hours, 4 hours, or 8 hours and add as many laps as they can during their chosen period.

Options:

  • 2 hours - complete as many 2.2 mile trail laps as possible.
  • 4 hours - complete as many 2.2 mile trail laps as possible.
  • 8 hours - complete as many 2.2 mile trail laps as possible.

There is no official race timer; participants score laps on a large public board. Field camping is available starting Friday evening; campsites have no water or electricity and a porta potty is provided. The registration fee is $40. Registration opens April 19, 2026 and closes August 21, 2026. Event organizers state that proceeds are reinvested into this event and future editions.
