Ragged 75 Stage Race and 50k

The Ragged event is a multi day trail competition centered on the Sunapee Ragged Kearsarge Greenway loop around Lake Sunapee in New Hampshire. It is offered as a three day stage race totaling approximately 75 miles with about 15,500 ft of elevation gain, and as a single day 50k covering roughly 33 miles with about 6,300 ft of vertical.

The terrain includes technical single track, steep climbs and descents, double track, fire roads, dirt and gravel roads, and some pavement. The stage race is point to point; competitors move between overnight sites at Wadleigh State Park and Sunapee Middle High School, where basic facilities such as bathrooms, electricity, camp kitchen, showers and a gym floor option are available. Each competitor may check one 90 liter duffel and a small cooler for transport between stages.

Stage 3 includes four full aid stations and one water only station, with a doctor present at one station. The event enforces a 12 hour time limit per day and operates as a limited support race with no outside crews or pacers allowed. Mandatory gear requirements include a cell phone, hydration pack holding at least 70 oz, a fully waterproof jacket, a compass, and a basic first aid or blister kit.
