The event includes these distances:
- 75-mile 3-day stage race, approx 15,500 ft elevation
- 50K point to point trail, approx 33 miles, 6,300 ft vertical
The 75 mile race follows the Sunapee Ragged Kearsarge Greenway loop around Lake Sunapee and uses hiking trails, single track, double track, fire roads, dirt and gravel roads, and some pavement. Terrain features very technical single-track and steep climbs and descents. The 75 mile race is run in three stages of approximately 24 miles (4,900 ft), 23 miles (4,300 ft), and 33 miles (6,300 ft).
Overnight accommodations are organized as camping at Wadleigh State Park for the first night and at Sunapee Middle High School for the second night, with access to bathrooms, showers, and electricity. The event provides a limited support structure with fully stocked aid stations (one in Stage 1, one in Stage 2, and four aid stations plus one water only station in Stage 3), one water drop per stage, and transportation of one competitor duffel bag up to 90 liters. Competitors must carry mandatory gear including a waterproof jacket, hydration capacity of at least 70 oz, a cell phone, compass, and a compact medical kit.
The 75 mile stage race has a registration cap of 100 racers and a per day time limit of 12 hours. Entry fees and prize money are published for the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
