Bear Brook Trail Races - Allenstown, NH

The event takes place at Bear Brook State Park, with the venue listed as 157 Deerfield Road in Allenstown, New Hampshire. Two primary race options are offered:

  • Bear Brook Trail Ultramarathon: variable distance, typically between 50k and 100k.
  • Half Marathon: measured as close to 13.1 miles as possible.

For 2026 the longest distance is officially named the Bear Brook Trail Ultramarathon and the former 10k has been removed. The exact ultramarathon course and its distance will be released about one month before the race and may change from year to year. The event is GPX only with minimal to no course markings; entrants must download and use the GPX file to navigate the course.

Aid stations do not provide disposable cups. Runners must carry their own water bottles or soft flasks for refills. Pets are not allowed to run with participants and crews or pacers are not permitted.

There is no cutoff for the half marathon. Ultramarathon cutoff details will be communicated when the course is released. Runners who drop out must check in at the nearest aid station, notify volunteers, and turn in their bib; failure to do so can result in a ban from future races.

Camping is available inside the park and nearby towns include Concord and Manchester. Registration closes on Sep 9. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
