  • 3.4 miles

Registration is limited to 250 runners. Day-of registration is available, but close-in parking is limited. Course and logistics

Both courses are well marked, tour the Groton Town Forest, and have no road crossings. Surfaces include narrow dirt roads and winding single-lane trails with roots, rocks, leaves, uphills, and downhills. Hills are not large, though some are steep. The 9.5 mile course includes two self-serve water-only aid stations; the 3.4 mile course includes one self-serve water-only aid station. Light refreshments will be served after the races.

Prizes are awarded to the first male and first female finishers in each race. Age-group first-place prizes are also awarded. Entry fees vary by registration method and date, and there are family maximums for mailed pre-registrations. Entry fees are non-refundable and bib numbers are non-transferable.
