Trail Running calendar near Cutler 2026-2027

Trail race in Mascarene NB on a 9.75 km loop run once or twice, with wooded singletrack and rocky shore crossings at low tide. The 2026 course is more technical with 278 m of vertical and about 25 percent more singletrack.

An overnight team relay on July 24 and 25, 2026 covering about 102.7 miles from the Ellsworth area to Eastport. Teams of four to eight run legs from just under four miles to just over ten miles across trails and coastal roads.

August 2026

A multi-distance trail event on Blue Hill Mountain near the coast, with 5k, 10k, 25k and 50k courses that include summit loops. Proceeds support Blue Hill Heritage Trust and Wabanaki Alliance.

Four coastal routes from 4 km to 10 km on Mavillette Beach and nearby cliffs. Participants receive a t-shirt and medal and a photographer will be on site.

Trail races on Campobello Island offering 10 km, 25 km and 50 km routes along coastal trails and beaches. Organized with local parks and supporting the island food bank.

September 2026

Run repeated 3.1 km laps around Ashburn Lake in 6, 12 or 24 hour formats. The race includes on-site camping, a team Three is Key option and donations to the YMCA Strong Communities Fund.

TUCARD26 is an unconventional waypoint-based trail race in Orono, Maine with no fixed course between defined start and finish points. Registration supports the Orono Land Trust and is free for Wabanaki Tribal Members.

Trail running in Whitneyville, Maine on 27 September 2026 with an 8 mile race and a 2.5 mile run or walk through the Machias River Preserve. Courses feature singletrack and riverside sections plus post race awards and a potluck.

October 2026

Trail footraces at Caribou Bog Outdoor Center on 17 Oct 2026 feature a 5ish K and a 6 hour fixed time event with blue and red loop options where laps earn points for individuals and teams.

Trail races in Orland, Maine with a 6.2 mile summit route over forested single track and granite slabs, plus a 1 mile fun run to the Dead River. The event supports the Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust.

November 2026

Bold Coast Bash in Cutler Maine offers a coastal single track figure eight with a 50K ultra and a 10.5 mile fun run. The course features cliffs, rocks, mud, and bog bridging and requires mandatory safety gear and self support.
