The Rompin' Rockwood trail race takes place at Rockwood Park, Fisher Lakes Drive, Saint John, New Brunswick, on May 23, 2026. The event is organized as the ninth annual running of Rompin' Rockwood and is presented by River & Trail Outdoor Company. The race is part of the International Trail Running Association (ITRA) National League and awards ITRA points for the 26 km and 52 km distances.

Each distance follows primarily technical single-track trails with some crushed gravel and very little pavement. The course has no very large climbs but is rarely flat. Race headquarters and the start/finish area are at the old canteen by Fisher Lake, about 300 m from the Fisher Lake parking lot; the site includes a lake, a beach, lawn space, a kids park, and porta-potties. All participants receive an athlete guide before race day.

Online registration opens on January 3, 2026, with an early-bird period ending March 28, 2026, and online registration closing on May 15, 2026. There is no race-day registration, deferrals, or refunds. Transfers to another participant or to another distance are permitted and are managed through the registration platform; a transfer fee applies.
