Trail Running Calendar New Brunswick 2026-2027

A trail running weekend at Hanwell Recreation Park on May 1 and 2, 2026. Events range from a Friday 5 km to a 50 km ultra with chip timing and a five hour cutoff for the 25 km mark.

A tide-driven beach run from Market Wharf with 19 km, 11 km and 5 km options, including a 19 km loop around Minister's Island and a new 5 km out-and-back Seafoam Scramble.

Rompin' Rockwood is a trail ultra at Rockwood Park on May 23, 2026 offering 11 km, 26 km and 52 km on mostly single track with aid stations and a post race BBQ.

A Backyard Ultra on a 6.7 km loop in Riverview on June 13, 2026, with online registration and prizes for the two runners who complete the most loops.

On June 27, 2026 in Saint John the ECBC features an 8 km single-track loop at Rockwood Park, with an intro group offering guided runs and an optional coached training plan through the Final Surge app.

Technical coastal trail race near Mascarene, New Brunswick on a 9.75 km loop run once or twice, with 278 m of vertical per lap, a low-tide cove crossing, a 115-runner cap and a local organic luncheon.

Trail races on Campobello Island with 10 km, 25 km and a 50 km double loop. Aid stations, course maps and part of registrations support the local food bank.

Run repeated 3.1 km laps around Ashburn Lake in 6, 12 or 24 hour formats. The race includes on-site camping, a team Three is Key option and donations to the YMCA Strong Communities Fund.

A 5 km cross country race in Miramichi, New Brunswick on September 26, 2026, with in person and virtual options. Online registration and a CAD 10 fee apply, virtual runners must run off road and submit results by Sunday.

A community fundraising walk and run along Fundy Trail Provincial Park offering 2 km, 5 km and 10 km options. Proceeds support the Cancer Support Program in the Saint John region and participants receive park entry, a shirt and lunch.

Trail Run Chaleur offers trail races in Bathurst with distances from 500 m kids races up to 20 km. Courses use gravel, single track and dirt trails, with non cash awards, kids medals and participation prize draws.

Trail races of 5 km and 13 km at Poley Mountain on October 10, 2026, with a festival day ticket and summit aid station. Online registration is open until October 2 and a hike/run ticket is required.

A 5km cross country race in Miramichi on October 17, 2026 with a virtual off road option, online registration only and a CAD 10 fee.
