Trail Running calendar near Orland 2026-2027

A timed 5K loop through woods and fields at the Maine Outdoor Wellness Center on June 20, 2026. Bibs, water, snacks, and family activities are provided and a $15 registration supports community building and programming.

Field & Forest 5 Miler is a roughly 5 mile trail race on the Crystal Spring property in Brunswick, ME. The mostly off pavement course has single track and wood bridges, and the field is limited to 50 runners.

July 2026

An overnight team relay on July 24 and 25, 2026 covering about 102.7 miles from the Ellsworth area to Eastport. Teams of four to eight run legs from just under four miles to just over ten miles across trails and coastal roads.

August 2026

A multi distance trail event on Blue Hill Mountain in Blue Hill, ME featuring 5k, 10k, 25k and 50k figure eight courses with summit trails and coastal views. Proceeds support Blue Hill Heritage Trust and Wabanaki Alliance.

September 2026

Three trail races in Camden Hills State Park present 10K, 20K and 50K courses around Mount Megunticook, with routes ranging from steep singletrack to wide gravel trail and an Indigenous land acknowledgement and giving option.

TUCARD26 is an unconventional waypoint-based trail race in Orono, Maine with no fixed course between defined start and finish points. Registration supports the Orono Land Trust and is free for Wabanaki Tribal Members.

Trail runs in Whitneyville on 27 September 2026 with 8 mile and 2.5 mile courses through the Machias River Preserve, post race potluck, awards across age groups, and a raffle for a $100 gift certificate.

October 2026

Trail footraces at Caribou Bog Outdoor Center on 17 Oct 2026 feature a 5ish K and a 6 hour fixed time event with blue and red loop options where laps earn points for individuals and teams.

Trail races in Orland, Maine with a 6.2 mile summit route over forested single track and granite slabs, plus a 1 mile fun run to the Dead River. The event supports the Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust.

November 2026

Trail races on the Bold Coast in Cutler, ME featuring a 50K ultra and a 10.5 mile fun run on a three loop figure eight course with rocky, muddy and cliffside single track. Entrants are capped and must carry mandatory safety kit.
