Cape to Cliff Beach Run 2026
The event takes place on Mavillette Beach in Clare, Nova Scotia. The start and finish are located in the center of the beach, between the first parking lot (civic #395) and the middle parking lot (civic #336). Due to tidal damage, the usual central entrance stairs are inaccessible; participants should use the first entrance near the bridge and walk to the beach.
Routes include varied surfaces. Longer distances mix gravel, pavement, and sand, while the 4 km option is entirely on the tidal sands of Mavillette Beach.
Distances offered:
- 4 km beach run entirely on tidal sand
- 6 km beach out and back to Eagles Cliff then hill section
- 8 km beach to Eagles Cliff then up to Cape St Mary lighthouse
- 10 km extended route including Cape View water stop and return
All participants receive a t-shirt and a medal. The event is capped at 150 participants. The deadline to guarantee a t-shirt is Sunday June 21. A photographer will be onsite to capture the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
