Cape to Cliff Beach 2026
The event takes place on Mavillette Beach with the start and finish located on the beach between the first parking lot (civic #395) and the middle parking lot (civic #336). Due to tidal damage the usual middle entrance stairs are inaccessible; attendees should use the first entrance near the bridge (civic #395) and walk a short distance to the start and finish area at the center of the beach.
The event offers multiple routes over varied surfaces including sand, gravel and pavement. Distance options are:
- 4 km - entirely on the tidal sands of Mavillette Beach
- 6 km - beach to Eagles Cliff then uphill to Cape St Mary water stop
- 8 km - beach to Eagles Cliff then up to Cape St Mary Lighthouse
- 10 km - beach to Eagles Cliff then up to the lighthouse and Cape View boat water stop
All participants receive a t-shirt and a medal. Participation is capped at 150 entrants and the deadline to guarantee a t-shirt is Sunday, June 21. A photographer will be on site during the event. Route maps are provided by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
