Trail Running calendar near Jennings State Forest 2026-2027

Timed 3, 6, 9 and 12 hour events on July 18, 2026 at Cecil Field in Jacksonville, FL. The race uses a flat 1.25 mile paved loop through pine trees and includes a 4 person relay option for the 6 hour.

August 2026

Flat, shaded trail loop near the river and ocean in Palm Coast, FL. Timed 12 hour and 6 hour events with a fully stocked aid station and experienced race staff.

A five hour out and back on Section 4 of the Pioneer Trail in Middleburg, FL with technical single track, switchbacks and creek overlooks. Limited to about 40 participants and cupless with basic aid at the halfway point.

September 2026

A trail event on the Sandridge Trail with a 2.75 mile loop offering 9K plus 3, 6, and 12 hour timeframes and ruck options. Aid stations are cupless and a portion of proceeds support local recovery nonprofits.

Two loop trail races at San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park on September 12, 2026, with 3.8-mile and 8.3-mile courses. There are awards, post-race snacks, a $20 entry fee, and park parking fees.

A community 5K, 10K and one-mile run/walk on the Emerald Trail in Jacksonville supporting Groundwork Jacksonville. Courses use the LaVilla Link and S-Line Rail Trail and include chip timing, custom shirts and finisher medals.

October 2026

November 2026

Trail running event in White Springs, Florida offering 50K, 25k and 10k distances with aid stations and cutoffs. Races finish at Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park and benefit the Florida Trail Association.

A looped ultratrail at Dunns Creek State Park near Pomona Park FL featuring an about 11.75 mile loop, multiple race distances, two on-course aid stations and runner support at a central village.

An endurance event at Ravine Gardens State Park in Palatka, FL offering 50 mile, 50K, 24 hour and 12 hour formats on a paved two mile loop. Aid stations provide hot and staple foods and personal lighting is mandatory at night.

Across Florida 200 is a fully supported, point to point 200-mile trail run from Yankeetown to St. Augustine (Nov 10–15, 2026). The route mixes Florida Trail, park trails, dirt roads, rails-to-trails and country roads with a 96-hour cutoff.

A well marked 5K loop on the Florida Trail in Ocala with running and rucking divisions, live timing, race day packet pickup, and a custom finisher medal; ruck entrants must meet specific weight and pack rules.

Oceanfront 10K and 5K beach races at Anastasia State Park with virtual and shirt-only options; the event supports two local charities and includes a race packet with shirt, medal and bag.

Festivus in Middleburg, FL uses a scenic 7.2-mile loop with multiple distances from 7 miles to 100 miles. The cupless event includes staffed aid stations, campground access, specific pacer rules, and set cutoff times for each distance.
