S.O.S. - September 12, 2026

S.O.S. is a trail event held on the Sandridge Trail in Jennings State Forest near Middleburg, FL. The event offers a single course run on an approximately 2.75 mile loop and multiple distance and timed options. A portion of proceeds supports local recovery-related organizations, including two 501(c)(3) nonprofits that serve the recovery and sober living community. The event highlights National Recovery Month and mental health awareness.

Aid is provided from a primary station at the start/finish with standard ultra race food and post-event treats. A hydration-only station is located at about 1 to 1.25 miles on the loop. This is a cupless event; participants must bring a handheld bottle, hydration vest, bladder, or collapsible cup for volunteer refill. Volunteers will sanitize hydration igloos and follow COVID-era sanitation protocols at aid stations.

Participants have vehicle access near the course and space for canopies and tents. The event includes giveaways, sponsor products from companies such as LMNT Electrolytes and Trail Toes, and awards including custom medals and the Slow A$$ awards. Registration closes the evening before the event and there are no refunds.
