Festivus 100/50 Miler Trail Run
Festivus is a multi-distance trail event in Middleburg, FL scheduled for December 5 to 6, 2026 and organized by Sombrero Running. The event offers several distances run on a scenic 7.2 mile loop that features long leaf pines, palmettos, two footbridges, and varied wildlife. The loop has approximately 225 feet of elevation gain and loss.

- 50 Miler
- 35 Miler
- 14 Miler
- 7 Miler
Cutoffs are published for each distance: the 100 and 50 mile races share a 38 hour cutoff, the 35 mile cutoff is 18 hours, and the 14 mile cutoff is 8 hours. Pacer rules: 100 mile entrants may have one pacer after 50 miles; runners over 60 may have a pacer at any time; only one pacer is allowed at a time. Pacers are not allowed for the 14, 35, or 50 mile distances except by race director exception.
The race is cupless; runners should bring a handheld bottle or hydration pack. Aid stations include a main station with water, Skratch (orange and lemon lime), typical aid station snacks and hot foods, a fully stocked campground aid station with hot food at about the 4 mile mark, and an unmanned hydration igloo at about the 2 mile mark. There are free-standing bathrooms with running water on the course and additional porta potties at the campground aid station. Parking is in the main lot and tents/canopies may be set up along the course; campsites run through the loop and are available for reservation through the event organizer for the weekend.
Finishers of the 100 mile distance within the allotted time receive a custom buckle; all finishers receive a custom medal and awards are given by division.
