Angry Tortoise 25K and 50K
The Angry Tortoise 25K and 50K is an annual trail run held in the flatwoods of Cary State Forest near Bryceville and the outskirts of Jacksonville, Florida. The 2027 event marks the race's 14th anniversary.

The course runs on forest roads and is described as flat. The event provides well supported aid stations along the route, a course map, and a race video for reference. There is an eight hour cutoff for both distances. A free hot shower is available in the male and female restrooms located near the start and finish area. The race provides a race shirt and finisher awards. Award categories include first through third overall male and female, first male and female masters aged 40 to 49, first male and female grandmasters aged 50 to 69, and senior grandmasters aged 70 and over for both distances. Lunch is provided for runners after the race.
Proceeds support the Florida Striders Kids Running Programs. Registrants who sign up after 12:00pm on February 1, 2026 are not guaranteed their shirt size, though extra shirts are ordered when possible. Registration closes on February 20.
