Angry Tortoise 25K/50K - Bryceville, FL
The Angry Tortoise 25K/50K is a trail race held in the flatwoods of Cary State Forest on the outskirts of Jacksonville. The event in 2027 is presented as the 14th Anniversary Run and takes place at 7465 Pavilion Rd in Bryceville, FL.
The course uses forest roads and is described as flat. The race offers well-supported aid stations along the route and an eight hour cut-off for both the 25K and 50K distances. Participants receive a race shirt and finisher awards. Lunch is provided after the race, and a free hot shower is available in the male and female restrooms near the start/finish area.
Awards will be given in both the 25K and 50K races to first, second and third overall male and female, to the first male and female masters (40-49), to the first male and female grandmasters (50-69), and to senior grandmasters 70 and over.
