This ain't your Mothers 50k & Trail Marathon

This event takes place on the Pioneer Trail in Jennings State Forest near Middleburg, FL. The trail is mostly single track with varied terrain and several viewpoints along the Black Creek ravines. Sections include a scenic Cross Cut single track of about 2.5 miles, a technical 2.7 mile Section 4 with notable vertical and technical features, and an "enchanted forest" flat section of about 2.5 miles. The course includes stream crossings and walkover features.

The 50K follows an out and back route that traverses all trail sections and includes an out and back on an added Section 5. The marathon is an out and back beginning at the Dunns Farm Trailhead and shares most of the same course mileage with fewer added sections. The event notes over 2k of elevation gain and loss on the longer courses.

Logistics: the race is cup less so participants must bring hydration vests or handheld bottles. Aid stations appear approximately every 2.5 to 3 miles and provide water, electrolyte nutrition options, and standard ultra race fare. Porta potties are provided at the turnaround/drop bag site and at the start/finish area. Course maps and a GPX file are available. Awards include overall top three in each race, Masters awards (age 50+), and a finisher award for last place in each division.
