Sombrero Ultra Running Festival is the 2nd annual ultrarunning event held in Middleburg, Florida at the Clay County Regional Sports Complex, occurring around Presidents Day weekend on February 12, 2027. The event is presented as a multi day festival with vendors, on site food, and themed giveaways.

Available timed race options include:

• 3-hour timed events
• 6-hour timed event
• 12-hour day and night options
• 24-hour event
• 48-hour event and 48-hour relays for 2 to 4 runners

The venue includes a runner village for tents, canopies and crews, plus RV parking with no hookups and a small on site fee. The organizer notes that the race is cupless; runners must bring their own bottles, hydration vests, bladders or collapsible cups. There will be a single aid station at the start/finish area that is passed twice each loop, stocked with water, electrolytes, a variety of hot and cold foods, and standard ultra fare.

Medical personnel and footcare services are planned to be on site for the full duration of the 48 hour race. Pacers are permitted only for the 24 and 48 hour events after a set time and must be registered with race staff. Custom technical shirts and awards such as belt buckles and medals are offered; a shirt guarantee requires registration by 1/23. There are no refunds for this event.
