Sombrero Ultra Running Festival (SURF) : Middleburg, Florida

Sombrero Ultra Running Festival is a multi-day ultrarunning event held in Middleburg, Florida at the Clay County Regional Sports Complex on February 12, 2027. The festival offers a range of time-based race formats and a runner village with space for tents, canopies, crews, and paid RV parking.

The event is cupless; all runners must bring their own bottles, hydration vests with bladders, or collapsible cups. There will be a single aid station at the start/finish area passed twice per loop providing standard ultra fare, Skratch electrolytes, pickle juice, water and various hot and cold food options including breakfast and lunch items. Footcare and physical therapy services are planned on site. Medical personnel will be present for the full duration of the longest events.

Pacers are permitted only for the 24 hour and 48 hour events after the first 12 hours and must register with the race director or event staff. RVs are allowed but there are no hookups and an on-site RV fee applies. Custom technical shirts are offered with a registration deadline to guarantee sizing. Entry fees are nonrefundable.
