Dunns Ultra Marathon Badasses

Dunns Ultra Marathon Badasses is a trail running event held at Dunns Creek State Park in Pomona Park, Florida. The main loop is approximately 11.75 mile and combines compact grass, forest service roads, sandpine scrub and some sugar sand sections. Each loop has about 300 to 350 feet of elevation gain and loss. The route includes two shallow water crossings with optional foot bridges and finishes each loop with about 1.5 mile on asphalt returning to the runner's village. The course reaches Mt. Maars near the 15k mark, which offers views over the forest.

Course cutoffs are published for each distance, for example the 100 mile and 100k have a 36 hour cutoff and the 35 mile events have a 16 hour cutoff. Pacers are allowed for the 100 mile and 100k after the third loop; runners or ruckers aged 60 or older may have a pacer at any time. Pacers must sign a waiver.

There are two on course aid stations with varied food and hydration items and a runner's village with a parking area on compact grass, on site crewing, camping subject to a state park fee, and park regulations that prohibit alcohol. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
