Dunns Ultra Marathon Badasses - D.U.M.B.
Dunns Ultra Marathon Badasses is a trail running event held at Dunns Creek State Park in Pomona Park, Florida. The course is built around an approximately 11.75 mile loop; all distances except the 8K use this loop. The route includes gradual inclines and declines, a climb to "Mt. Maars" near the 15K mark with forest views, open prairie sections, canopied forest, compact grass and forest service roads, sugar sand areas and two shallow water crossings with optional foot bridges. The final 1.5 miles of each loop are on an asphalt road returning to the runner's village.

Course cutoffs range by distance, with the longest cutoff listed at 34 hours for the 100 mile and 100K events and shorter cutoffs for shorter distances and ruck divisions. The event notes local natural features such as longleaf pines, wiregrass and sandpine scrub and mentions species like the gopher tortoise and fox squirrel.
Charity partners are the Sombrero Outreach Foundation and Friends of Dunns Creek State Park, both described as 501(c)(3) organizations. The event does not offer refunds; with ample notice entrants may defer to the following year or to another Sombrero event of similar distance and price.
Runner's village provides compact grass parking adjacent to the start/finish for crew access, tent or RV setup, and a central gathering area. Friday night camping is subject to a $30 state park fee. Park regulations prohibit alcohol, allow propane heaters, and may permit open flames when drought conditions do not restrict them.
Swag includes custom D.U.M.B. medals for all finishers, a belt buckle for the 100 mile distance and a mini buckle for the 100K distance; ruck participants receive a patch plus buckle and medal.
