Course and logistics

The race is held at Ravine Gardens State Park on a paved, USATF-certified 2-mile loop. The route runs down the ravine and passes historical landmarks, old Florida native plants, wildlife, winding curves, and a tunnel-like canopy of large oaks. The loop includes a few hills.

Tents and canopies may be set up on race day only and areas must be kept clean. A few spots are reserved for solo, non-crewed runners; remaining spots are first-come, first-served. Aid stations will provide staple foods, with vegan, vegetarian, and fruitarian options available on request. Hot items such as soups, sandwiches, and quesadillas are offered and can be prepared for the next lap. Each runner’s bottle must be marked; a table will be available for bottle pick-up and drop-off, and bottles can be filled near the start/finish turn. Personal lighting is mandatory for nighttime running. A professional timing service will manage timing and data backups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
