Sombrero Sizzler

The Sombrero Sizzler is an inaugural trail run presented by Sombrero Running LLC, taking place in Jacksonville, FL. Participants can choose to run or walk on a 1.25 mile paved loop surrounded by pine trees for 3, 6, 9, or 12 hours. The course is flat and fast, located on a former active military base, Cecil Field.

There will be a relay team option for the 6 and 12-hour races, with plenty of fun and heat promised throughout the event. The race will feature chip timing by Mike Melton with MCM Timing, and all participants will receive a custom medal. Additionally, the event will give back to the local cause, Marathon High, which supports at-risk teens in developing positive futures.
