The IQ FIBER Winter Beach Run is a popular annual event held in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, featuring 10-mile and 5K races on firmly packed sand near low tide for optimal running conditions. Established in 1976, it is the second oldest running event in the Jacksonville area and offers a unique beach running experience. Both distances start at the Seawalk Pavilion, with the 5K turning around at 1.55 miles and the 10-mile course consisting of two loops of the 5K route. Participants receive medals and moisture-wicking long-sleeve shirts, with awards for overall and age-group finishers.
