Gate2Gate Trail Run - Alachua, FL

The Gate2Gate Trail Run is scheduled for October 24, 2026 in and around San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park near Alachua, Florida. The course uses trails in the northern and southern portions of the park, including high quality single-track mountain bike trails, open fields, rolling hills, and double-track hiking and birding trails. The southern section follows the yellow trail loop toward the western part of the park and includes notable hills and a connector back to the north end biking trails.

The 25K is one circuit of the course and the 50K is two circuits. The course will be open for eight hours. Aid stations are located at multiple mile markers around the loop and provide water, electrolyte drink (Powerade), basic ultra foods such as PB&J sandwiches, and a selection of sweets and salty foods. Aid stations will not provide gels, S-Caps, or medications and will not provide disposable cups; participants need to carry their own bottles, hydration vests, or cups. The organizer requests that runners avoid single serving gel packs to reduce trail litter.

The event includes a TailGate2Gate celebration zone. Net profits will be donated to the Friends of San Felasco community support organization. Every finisher receives a custom medal and a custom glass; 50K finishers also receive a custom trucker hat. Registration closes October 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Two loop trail races at San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park on September 12, 2026, with 3.8-mile and 8.3-mile courses. There are awards, post-race snacks, a $20 entry fee, and park parking fees.

A backyard ultra at San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park in Alachau, FL where runners repeat a 4.167 mile loop each hour until one runner completes a loop others do not. Base camps are limited and no aid is available on course.
