FTC Short and Long Trail Run
The event takes place on September 12, 2026, at San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park in Alachua, Florida. The start is at the park North Entrance along Progress Blvd on the Alachua side. Both courses form a loop along the park trails.
Two route options are offered:
- 3.8 miles
- 8.3 miles
Registration fee is $20 per entry. Registration opens June 6, 2026, and closes on September 12, 2026. This is a Florida State Park event; park fees apply: $4 per vehicle, $2 per bicycle, and walk-in admission is free for Florida State Park pass holders.
Awards are given to overall Male and Female finishers and to the top three in 10-year age groups. Refreshments and snacks are provided after the race.
The event is free for Florida Track Club members; members receive a coupon code to enter without charge. Membership rates listed for the club are: Student $25, Individual $40, Family $65, and Senior 65+ at $25 individual or $40 family. Membership benefits noted include free entry to nine races including this event, discounted entry to three additional races, and a social gathering in August.
